Yes! We offer a 15% discount for all bookings made direct through our website within a week of arrival. The discount will be automatically applied when you make a booking.

Studio Cottage has a car parking permit for one car at the local Stoke Lodge Hotel, just a 3 minute walk from the cottage. Additional free parking is available in the village.

Studio Cottage welcomes one well-behaved pet. Please note that pets are not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture, and additional terms and conditions (including a small surcharge) will apply.

Do also note that our courtyard is not fully “secure”, and dogs should be supervised at all times when outside.

We recommend Dartmouth Canine Care for any dog-walking or dog-sitting that you might need while you’re staying at Studio Cottage. You can find out more about their services on their website.

Studio Cottage sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms. Additional guests are strictly prohibited.

Yes, absolutely! There’s super fast broadband (at over 200 megabits per second), as well as two state-of-the art workspace set-ups in different parts of the cottage. All you need to do is bring your laptop!

The cottage is suitable for a family of up to four. A travel cot for infants can be provided on request.

Please note that the cottage has quite steep internal stairs and does not have stair gates, so small children should be supervised at all times.

Due to the period nature of the property we regret that the cottage is not currently suitable for guests with additional physical access needs. Depending on your requirements, The Stoke Lodge Hotel in the village may be a suitable alternative option, or we are happy to recommend other self-catering cottages in the region that are fully accessible.

The nearest airport is in Exeter, about an hour’s drive from Studio Cottage. Numerous car rental services are available at the airport. The nearest train station is in Totnes, about a 30 minute drive away. Taxi services are available from Totnes Station, and local bus services run from Totnes Station to Dartmouth, where you can change buses to reach Stoke Fleming (and Studio Cottage!)

Depending on what you’re looking for from your holiday, Studio Cottage can actually make the perfect rural escape for those without a car, as so many amenities and things to do are right on the doorstep, and there are regular bus services from the village into both Dartmouth and along the coast towards Kingsbridge.
